Why I created
"It's About Time"
I am Mary K Francis, owner and Trainer here at It’s About Time. I began teaching fitness in 1989 while studying to become a Nurse. Life changes — we graduate, build careers, get married, raise families — but one thing that has never changed for me is my passion for helping people move, feel strong, and enjoy exercise. Teaching fitness has always been constant in my life, and after decades of leading classes for other businesses, I decided it was time to create a space of my own. It’s personal. It’s my time. And It’s About Time to pour my endless passion for fitness and health into a place that is mine. It’s About Time isn’t just a name — it is a declaration to put yourself first and to train where members feel strong, seen and supported. I’m AFAA Group Exercise Certified, a NASM Personal Trainer, and hold specialized training in Myofascial release. My background as a nurse gives me a unique understanding of rehabilitation and overall health. When I am not leading a class, you’ll probably find me zigging and zagging on a pickleball court, skiing down a mountain, cooking something delicious, or just staying active and having fun. Fitness should feel empowering and enjoyable, and that’s exactly what I bring to every session. I am a fearless leader with caring and compassion and a fire still burning.

Why our floor rocks (literally and figuratively). At It’s About Time, we’ve built your workouts from the ground starting with our shock-absorbing, joint-friendly flooring. It cushions every step, jump, and landing, reducing stress on knees, hips, and back. Whether you’re pushing for a personal best or just starting your fitness journey, our floor helps you train harder, recover faster, and feel better after every class.
